Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations (CLBO)
The Center for Leadership and Behavior in Organizations (CLBO) is an applied research institute at Goethe University. In its research, education and counselling activities in the field of specific human resource management topics, CLBO combines interdisciplinary knowledge from economics, psychology and sociology. Based on the experiences and behaviors of individuals in organizations, CLBO explores factors including performance, satisfaction and wellbeing.
European Supervisor Education Initiative (ESE)
The European Supervisor Education Initiative (ESE) was established in 2009 as an alliance of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), Deutsche Bundesbank (BBk), Österreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) and the Goethe Business School (GBS) at Goethe University in Frankfurt. ESE has two main objectives: to offer European financial supervisors high-level training under uniform standards and to combine the experiences of practitioners with the theoretical knowledge of academic research. ESE offers a modular seminar program for banking, insurance and securities supervisors at various locations in Europe. The program is aimed at strengthening cooperation between supervisory authorities by sharing information and knowledge. It thus aspires to further promote a common European supervisory culture.
Frankfurt Insurance Executive Education (FIEE)
Frankfurt Insurance Executive Education (FIEE) is an education initiative organized under private law that combines experienced experts of academia and practice in the fields of insurance and insurance regulation. In cooperation with Goethe Business School, FIEE offers training programs for executive committees and supervisory boards of insurance companies.
The Center for Financial Studies (CFS) conducts independent and internationally oriented research in important areas of Finance. It serves as forum for dialogue between academia, policy-making institutions and the financial industry. It offers a platform for top-level fundamental research as well as applied research relevant for the financial sector in Europe.
Frankfurt Institute for Risk Management and Regulation (FIRM)
The Frankfurt Institute for Risk Management and Regulation (FIRM) is founded by the Society for Risk Management and Regulation e.V., a union of banks and associations, initiatives and auditing companies, as well as the state of Hesse. The objective FIRM is to organize and promote teaching and research in risk management and regulation, especially within the financial sector.
CFA Institute (Chartered Financial Analyst)
CFA Institute is a global association of investment professionals. The organization offers the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) designation, and the Claritas Investment Certificate. It provides continuing education conferences, seminars, webcasts, and publications to allow members and other participants to stay current on developments in the investment industry.
Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Goethe University
With more than 4,700 students studying business administration, economics and business education, the school is not only one of the most prestigious, but also one of the largest schools of business and economics in Germany. House of Finance
The House of Finance combines several interdisciplinary research and education activities in the area of finance at Goethe University Frankfurt. It is an open meeting place and cooperation forum for academia, politics, and practitioners from industry and regulation. Altogether, 170 scholars conduct research and offer courses at the House of Finance, among them 30 professors – one of the largest research groups on financial and monetary issues in Europe. Its researchers come from the University's departments of finance and money and macroeconomics (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration) as well as corporate and financial law (Faculty of Law). Furthermore, the House of Finance houses the various research and education institutions that belong to or are affiliated with Goethe University.
House of Pharma & Healthcare (HOPH)
The House of Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare is an association that aims at developing a pharmaceutical competence cluster in Hesse and positioning as an incubator for drug research in Germany. The HOPH promotes the development, integration and application of knowledge in biomedical research and coordinates the joint efforts of industry and academia to improve the efficiency of drug discovery.
International Center for Insurance Regulation (ICIR)
The International Center for Insurance Regulation (ICIR) is a research and education center at Goethe University which delivers internationally visible research output, establishes an independent international platform for an exchange of ideas and offers high-level executive education training for regulatory authorities and insurers. Its yearly conference "Global Insurance Supervision" which is organized by the ICIR in cooperation with EIOPA addresses current topics. The objective is to foster a global dialogue between supervisors and leading professionals of the insurance industry on the subject of global insurance supervision.
The Indian School of Business (ISB)
The Indian School of Business (ISB) evolved from the need for a world-class business school in Asia. The founders, some of the best minds from the corporate and academic worlds, anticipated the leadership needs of the emerging Asian economies.

Research Center SAFE
The Research Center „Sustainable Architecture for Finance in Europe“ (SAFE) is a cooperation of the Center for Financial Studies and Goethe University Frankfurt funded by the Hessian excellence initiative LOEWE. The Center, which is located at Goethe University's House of Finance, is dedicated to research and policy advice in the area of finance. SAFE aims to become a leading research center in Europe on all areas relevant for developing a sustainable architecture for finance (Research), that offers a dynamic interaction with policy makers and society (Policy), while engaging a critical mass of young researchers and professionals in SAFE activities (Education & Training).
China Foundation for Development of Financial Education
Founded in 1992 and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the China Foundation for Development of Financial Education is a Nonprofit Organization under the supervision of the People's Bank of China. The mission of the Foundation is to alleviate poverty through financial education. Since establishment the Foundation has been striving to improve the capabilities of the staff of financial institutions that serve rural areas and promote financial literacy to the public.
